Ray Murphy was Chief Pilot for the Vietnam Helicopters since its inception in September 2010 until he passed December 21, 2012. He was commited to our group’s mission of flying the Huey as a “thank you” to his fellow Vietnam War Veterans for their service, and he flew hundreds of veterans during his time with us. Ray Murphy was also much more than our Chief Pilot; he was our mentor and our great friend – we will miss him always.
